RTE Gujarat Admission:- The Gujarat government also follows the Right to Education Act which was created by the union government to provide proper education opportunities to children till the age of 14 years so that they can have basic education and they can then take into account higher education. This is a great way through which the people belonging to the economically backward section of society can get a basic education so that they have a basic knowledge of certain things that are necessary to live a healthy and happy lifestyle. There is a certain percentage of admission seats available in Government schools and also private schools in Gujarat which are reserved for these kinds of people applying through the RTE Gujarat Admission 2024. 

What is RTE Gujarat Admission 2024?

The Right to Education Act was created to provide proper opportunities to people who are otherwise not able to get an education due to the financial background that they belong to. It is necessary to understand that this act was created to help the people who are not able to live a happy and healthy lifestyle due to the financial problems and also the economic conditions which are prevalent in India. This is a fundamental right that is prevalent in India through which people can send their children to school without having to worry about school fees. With this enactment, students till the age of 14 years can get an education in Government schools and colleges.

Objective Of RTE Gujarat Admission

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Gujarat right to Education Act:-

• The applicant must have completed 5 years of age on or before 1st June 2022 to apply for this admission.
• The income of the general caste household should be 68000 per annum or below.
• The income of scheduled Caste and scheduled tribe households should not be more than Rupees 2 lac per annum.
• The income of an OBC household should not be more than Rupees one lakh per annum.

Documents Required 

The following documents are required to be submitted while you are securing your admission in the Gujarat state:-

4	Photograph	Parents who are in 0-20 score (points) of the BPL category should get the certificates from the following offices: (1)For Rural areas: Certificate of Taluka Development Officer or Director, District Rural Development Agency. (2)For Urban area: (a)For Municipal Corporation: Deputy Municipal commissioner or competent officer authorized by the municipal corporation. (b)For Municipality: Certificate of Chief Officer of Municipality. (c)For Notified area: Certificate of Chief Executive Officer or Administrative Officer. In all those urban(city) areas, where the beneficiary list is unavailable for the BPL 0 to 20 score, the beneficiary will have to produce a BPL certificate specifying the BPL no under the BPL list issued by a competent authority. BPL ration card is not valid proof for the BPL category.
5	Parent’s Income	Income certificate: Mamlatdar or Taluka Development Officer’s Certificate. The income Certificate given by Talati of E-Gram Panchayat will be also considered valid. (Date:01/04/2019 onwards)
6	BPL Category	Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of the concerned district
7	NDNT	Mamlatdar, Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Officer Certificate
8	Orphan Child	Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of the concerned district
9	Child in Need of Care and Protection	Children belonging to Child care Institutions
10	Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of the concerned district	Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of concerned district

Admit Card

Important Instruction 

The applicant must follow the following instructions to successfully apply for the right to education:-

• The students who are only children or only daughters in the family will be given priority. The students who belong to the economically backward section of society will be given priority.
• The applications will be selected based on the income of the household and the people with the lowest income will be given the opportunity.
• The applicant must fill out the application form by checking out the income eligibility criteria presented by the Gujarat government to sort out the admissions.
• The last decision to approve the admissions belongs to the concerned authorities of the RTE Admission Act and they will decide whether the application is approved or rejected based on the income and other information related to the economic condition of the students.
• The schools have reserved up to 25% of seats for the people who are applying for the RTE quota.
