Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria while applying for the scheme:-

  • The applicant must be a widow or divorcee.
  • The husband of the applicant must be dead or missing for more than 7 years.
  • Applicant should not be remarried
  • The applicant must not be a part of any social welfare pension schemes.
  • The applicant must not have applied for any social welfare pension scheme.
  • Applicant must not have a financially stable background
  • The applicant must be alone and deprived
  • The applicant must not be in an occupation begging
  • Applicant must not be living in an old age home or poor home
  • The annual family income of the applicant must not be above 1 lakh rupees
  • The applicant must apply for the scheme at the local government
  • Applicant must be a destitute

Implementation Procedure

The applicant must follow the following implementation procedure while applying for the scheme:-

  • First of all, the application form for the concerned scheme must be submitted to the gram panchayat, municipality, or corporation security
  • Enquiry about the application form will be conducted after the month of submission of the application
  • A list will be prepared about the beneficiaries after the completion of the inquiry
  • The beneficiary list will be sent to the district collector of the officer as pointed out by the district collector
  • An appeal will be made against the beneficiary selection if any
  • Finally, the amount will be transferred to the concerned authorities and beneficiaries.
